i'm in california

people talk about how they want to move to california, like it's some amazing place where the streets are clean, the kids are good, housing is affordable. puh, only in the movies. like, some kind of movie trick. it's not amazing. it's not great. but i can't seem to feel like i'm home when i come back to visit. alot of you are probably confused, that's bc i use to live here, and many didn't know that bc most of you don't even know me. i hate kansas city. i guess anyone would after leaving your entire life behind as a child. what life do you have a 7? i had an awesome one. i mean, when you've got the beach + disneyland + your best friends all at your finger tips...it doesn't make much sense to walk away. california was once my home, now it's this foreign country that i only remember in my dreams. english isn't spoken here anymore, only these crazy dialects that i will never understand. this place that i once loved, and vowed to return to has seems to have lost much of its appeal. i still love the place i remember and now i'm getting use to this place that's replaced it.
